This year, for the first time, the Student Awards ceremony was combined with the Professional Awards which not only made for a HUGE event but also excellent provided opportunities for Anna & Becky (and Gyles) to network with clients and top agency creative directors.

The D&AD Student Awards are the largest, the most competitive and most respected international student competition in design and advertising and, impressively, it wasn't only the Creative Advertising programme from the University of Lincoln that won on the night: Tarryn Biswas from the Contemporary Lens Media programme (Photography category) and Graphic Design's Christie Burland-Upton (Digital Design category) were also presented with highly coveted 'mini-pencil' awards.

Many congratulations to all the University of Lincoln students on their fantastic success. The School of Art & Design has become a force to be reckoned with in the best student competitions.

And long may it continue.
